as the subject of embaresing gigs seesm to be here, im ashamed to admit i want to see daniel o’donnell purely for comedic value, i mean when you can watch a live dvd of an artists and play ‘spot the nun’ you know you’re in for a treat. and he’s just plain sexy.

(i cant figure out a way to post a picture of him, but heres the one i was goin to post http://www.obrien.ie/authors/DanielODonnell.jpg)

my friend works at the Brighton Centre and he played there the other week. She said that it was full of old ladies and when one came out she really smelt of wee, said friend thinks she pissed herself at the sight of said heartthrob…
She also said he’s a knob because he wouldn’t sign things for people and he seemed really sleazy as well.

I hope i’ve put you off.

lol, you will never put me off danny boy! although he does seem like he would be the sleazy type. I bought my mum his calender for next year and some of the pictures are quite disturbing, ones in a bathrobe.

Got my Regina, Patrick Wolf, and Maccabees tickets sorted out now.  Phew.  Now considering more Larrikins and Good Shoes.  I would like to see them, but then i’ve seen them both reecntly and maybe could try seeing something I haven’t seen recently.....decisions decisions.

i’ve always wondered how come everybody else goes to SO many gigs a week.

1. don’t you have homework? (this obv applies to those that go to school)
2. where do you get all that money?! (applies to everyone)

going to a gig for me has to be a bit of a treat cos i rarely have the time or the funds at the same time :(

To answer your questions i get the time by well 1.not doing work and just falling behind (probably not the best aproach to take) and 2.pretty much every week my ema money goes into gettick tickets and/or records.

ah. well i had expected the answer to the second questoin. i keep telling my dad that getting EMA is a right and not really taking charity but he won’t budge. he refuses to belive that ever since he changed jobs money IS more of an issue.
