so the main writer of Joey is David Crane, who shared almost half the writing of Friends with Marta Kaufmann.

in theory Joey should be only half as good as Friends. but it’s much much worse.

Marta Kauffman had some pretty crap shows, Veronica’s Closet with Kristie Alley. AWFUL!

Nah, mathematically, my freind Robbie says Joey is not much worse than Friends.  I inputted the entirety of friends into his whirring computer brain, and after some red flashing lights, and startling grinding sounds, out came a rating of minus 2 out of ten for freinds.  I told Robbie that Mr Sam says Joey is half as good as Friends, and Robbie told me Joey rates as minus 1.  Still crap, but only half as crap as the grinding banality of Friends.  Hey, a robot says Friends is shazbaz, and his logic is pure, obective, irrefutible - so that’s it, Friends is / was / forever will be:  sea are eh? pee.  Cross fingers, no come backs, double dumb ass on you.  Or maybe I partly hate it because ‘friends’ is a word I keep spelling wrong, again, and again, and again....

haha.

although i cannot fault your logic, the fundamental premise on which it is based seems a tad exaggerated.

if you were looking for a more suitable mindfuck, i would suggest to your robot friend to adjust his systems to rate Friends as 0 out of ten, that way Joey could be as bad as/as good as/half as bad as/half as good as Friends. all at the same time.

and i think everyone would be satisfied.

##
Robbie is real!
If you deny him again, he says he will come round your house and eat you up, head, shoulders, knees, and toes (even down to the toenails).

Robbie scowls at you:

Sadly, his metal face is incable of expressing his disdain at your glib refutal of his existance, but you can bet your boots he is thinking ‘withering glare’.

Brazil is on tonight, on normal television....bbc2 at 11:20.  Like all Terry Gilliam films, worth seeing.  Somebody on here said they wanted to see it I think, a long time ago?  Might have been JTP.
