Oh i just remembered to download that larrikin mash up, is quite humerous.
I bought the information but have yet to give it a proper listen, if i tell the truth it was the whole stickers for artwork that made me buy it. Beck is a great musician but they seem to be trying to sell the information using cgimicks instead of musical content (im to lazy to use spell check.)
I nearly bought it just for the stickers / make your own cover too. So maybe there is some logic behind the humbug chart exclusion. Anyway, glad I didn’t buy it now. i didn’t hate it at all, but it’s not that much of a grabber. I like Beck though, but i have enough Beck albums now. That scientology thing too....shouldn’t be put off my non-musical considerations, but that is unsettling.
Which is the reason I will be picking up another Leni next week. It is pitiful, this instict to keep pristine things. I have uses for the Leni stickers though. I stick my badge stickers in venues (often the tut, not so nice but true) and like to see how long they will remain. The Leni stickers will end up scattered across the venues of Newcastle / Teesside / York / Leeds / Sheffield.
I got my second copy of leni yesutrday, im not quite sure what to use the stickers as, will probably stick them round college like i did with the leni posters i had.
i am absolutely LOVING Tendancy by Battle from the NME cd. i had heard of some of their other stuff earlier this year but this is SO GOOD! where can i find more battle?! they’re from hastings. mm
